Ways to Help

Can you Help?

Well in a word...yes!

We are a small charity with a big heart for these vulnerable children. We can't save every child in Uganda but we are determined to make a difference to every child that we come into contact with. Like any other charity, we can only provide what we do by fundraising and asking for donations and sponsorship.

Donations/Sponsorship

In the last couple of years, Suubi Africa has grown far beyond what we expected or budgeted for! We are now playing catch up to try to continue to fund the amazing work that Esther and Jeremiah are doing. It costs £3000 a month to cover everything. That covers the saturday club, elvet house, the farm, the medical centre, the adult workshops, staff, crops, animals etc. We are very grateful to everyone who has supported us over the years and we are very fortunate to have people who support us on an ongoing monthly basis. We are however still around £1300 short of the £3000 a month we need. Thanks to some very generous donations, we can cover these costs until the end of this year so that gives us around 6 months to find the shortfall! If you feel that you could give a regular amount every month then please go to our donations page and we will be very grateful for any amount you would like to give.

If you are a business and are interested in becoming one of our sponsors then please contact us for further information.

Fundraising Ideas

If you would like to arrange a fundraising event on our behalf then please get in touch as we'd love to hear from you. We have had individuals complete sporting events, groups doing bake sales etc. We would be very happy to talk to you about any fundraising idea you have and would be happy to provide information and support.

Schools

Are you a teacher or a pupil at a school and could you do a sponsored non uniform day or a cake sale or any other event? Would your school be interested in partnering with our school in Uganda? Would you like a trustee to come and talk about the work we do in a school assembly? Please get in touch if you would be interested in any of these ideas.
